In Red Oak Farm's CSA Program, members pay at the beginning of the season for a weekly installment of ever-changing, in-season produce from our farm. It runs from mid-May through mid-November, and in the course of a season provides over 40 different types of delicious, fresh-picked produce. Installment payments or other agreed upon payment schedules are also possible, if desired. We also offer an extended share option starting in mid-November which runs into the winter, offering an array of root crops, cold-weather greens, storage apples and other storage crops like onions, garlic and squash.
How it Works: YOU CHOOSE!!
A week before pick-up, members receive an e-mail outlining what is available for the week to come. From this master list, members select
6 items to make their share for that week. The Standard Share, our own well-rounded selection, is always available, and is the default share for those who do not respond. Your produce will then be freshly harvested for your pick-up! Members pick-up at the farm (on Rt. 9 in Stuyvesant) or at our two market locations in Hudson and Albany (See Farmer's Market page for exact locations)

What Are Some Things I Can Choose From?
Depending on the season, you can choose from a wide variety of vegetables, fruit, teas and culinary herbs.
Vegetables:
Some of our seasonal vegetables include arugula, beets, carrots, cucumber, garlic, green beans, kale, onions, potatoes, peas, salad greens, spinach, swiss chard, tomatoes, turnips and more!
Fruits:
Some of our seasonal fruit include: blueberries, apples, black currants and raspberries.
Herbal Products:
Diverse selection of herbal teas and culinary herbs.
Optional Winter CSA Share:
In addition, we offer 6 winter weeks starting mid-November. Items available at this time would be: root crops, cold-weather greens, storage apples, onions, garlic, squash, fresh and dried herbs and herbal teas. Eggs will also be available.
